The British American Football Association is
delighted to announce that it has successfully bid for funding from the Sport
England Impact and Improvement Fund.
Sport England have recently confirmed that they
will be providing a grant which will support projects aimed at developing
football's workforce; establishing new strategies to increase both the quantity
and quality of participation, and providing new platforms for sustaining and
developing the interest of players and coaches.
Gary Marshall, BAFA Chairman spoke of his delight at the news
‘It is great
news that BAFA has been awarded more funding to help implement elements of our
Whole Sport Plan. This award will help to further improve the quality of
football in Great Britain and the announcement could not be more timely, coming
as it does following the culmination of another successful BAFL season and prior
to the start of the BUAFL campaign'.'
Marshall continued '
There will be an open tendering process to establish who
will deliver these projects for and on behalf of BAFA. We look forward to
working in partnership with the successful contractors'
A copy of the tender is available from Andy Fuller, BAFA Director for Student Football.
