BAFA meets with Minister for Sport, Mr. Gerry Sutcliffe MP.

The BAFA are delighted to report that, Ken Walters, BAFA WSP Manager, recently met with Minister for Sport, Mr Gerry Sutcliffe MP, at the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) to discuss the topic of grassroots participation and how the regular season NFL game between the Miami Dolphins and New York Giants on October 28th last year has benefited BAFA – the national governing body for the sport of American Football in Great Britain.
 
Ken commented, “It was a great pleasure to meet with the Minister and I enjoyed the opportunity to discuss the positive contribution BAFA is making towards PSA 3 targets”.

On the meeting, the Minister commented, "I was delighted to meet BAFA and to learn about their plans for the development of American Football in Britain. I look forward to seeing them develop these plans to increase participation in a sport that looks to have an ever more promising future in this country”.
