The BAFA are delighted to announce that Richard Norman, Membership Development Officer from the Central Council of Physical Recreation (CCPR), is to join BAFA on secondment for at least one day per month to support on the delivery of Whole Sport Plan (WSP) related projects.

Commenting on this addition to the team, BAFA WSP Manager, Ken Walters, commented, "We are delighted to have Richard join the team - we can only benefit from his skill sets and expertise".

Talking on his upcoming role with BAFA, Richard commented, "Having worked with BAFA for the past eighteen months or so, I have never failed to be impressed by the quality and professionalism of everyone involved with American football in Britain. I hope that in some small way I can help to deliver the Whole Sport Plan and get more people playing American football and I am sure that I will learn a lot.''

BAFA Chairman, Gary Marshall, commented, "Richard has been supportive of our objectives since we first met back in late 2006. We are, of course delighted to have him on board to help deliver some of our WSP projects". Gary concluded, "I would like to take the opportunity to thank the CCPR for allowing Richard to work even more closely with us".

Richard has a formal meeting with Ken Walters later this month to commence work on specific tasks.
