BAFCA New Tutors and Assessors Required for Coach Education Programme

The Coaches' Association is looking to recruit new Tutor/Assessors
to assist with the delivery and assessment of the Coach Education
Programme.
In particular, as the Coaches' Association expands delivery of the
Level 2 American Football coaching award, Coach Educators are required to
assist with delivery of both Level 1 (one day) and Level 2 (two day) courses,
which usually take place on Saturdays with some possible Sunday events.
Applications from all geographical regions of
Great Britain
are welcomed.
Successful applicants will receive training, travel
expenses and a nominal presentation fee.
ALL Applicants require:

High standard of personal
presentation
·
Conscientious and enthusiastic
approach to delivery of tasks
·
Good timekeeping and reliability
·
Good presentation and teaching
skills
·
Strong review and mentoring
skills
·
Competent administration skills
·
The ability to work within a
team
·
Commitment to be available to
deliver a minimum of 4 courses per year
Level 1 Applicants require:
·
A good general knowledge of the
sport with some coaching experience
·
An understanding of Safety and
Welfare issues
·
A strong understanding of
teaching/coaching methods
·
Knowledge of safe techniques
when blocking and tackling
Level 2 Applicants require:
·
Level 1 competencies listed
above, plus:
·
A sound technical knowledge of
all American Football positional skills
·
A sound understanding of the
tactical areas of Offense, Defense and Special Teams
·
A basic understanding of the
application of sport physiology to American Football.
·
A basic understanding of the
application of sports psychology to coaching American Football
Successful applicants would be expected to attend a
training event scheduled for the weekend of Friday 21st (evening) –
Sunday 23rd May.
