GB Youth Add to Squad

The GB Lions Youth are delighted to announce the addition of Alan "Zeke" Mowatt to the team's staff

A product of the Farnham Knights Youth team "Zeke" played for the Great Britain Youth team in his early days in the sport. He then went on to briefly play Senior Football for the Farnham Knights before retiring from playing due to the demands of his job as a physiotherapist. He did not however abandon the game as he became a regular member of the Knights staff for BAFL games (including the 2004 championship season) and accompanying them on trips into Europe for the EFAF Cup
 
He has now gone full circle returning back to the National Programme as the physio for the reborn GB Lions Youth team.
 

Head Coach Steve Rains said I am absolutely delighted to have Alan back on the sideline with me. I know he will fit perfectly into the staff we have and his understanding of football ensures that his care is focused on all of the right things to help players play - but also their safety if they are not fit to participate - this is a great addition to our set up
