New Generation of Lions Ready to Roar

With the Lions' marvelous victory over Sweden still fresh in the mind, over 100 young athletes descended on Bristol last week as part of the GB Youth programme. Having been delighted with the turnout, Coach Rains will now turn his attention to Scotland and the next round of trials on August 22nd.

 
Reflecting on the trials at Filton and speaking ahead of the Scottish trial Coach Rains said The entire coaching staff were pleased with what we saw in Bristol. Not only was there an impressive turn-out, we also had some great young talent on view.
 
Rains added These players have given us plenty of food for thought and we hope to see more of the same as we move North.



 
Who will follow in the footsteps of recent Lions MVP Fred Boyle?
