National Programme

The National Programme is the official BAFA body that provides British athletes with the opportunity to represent Great Britain in international competitive activity.

The National Programme offers opportunities for the following disciplines and age groups:

-Cadet (age 8-13)
-Junior (age 13-15)
-Youth (age 16-19)
-Senior (age 18+)

British American Football Referees’ Association (BAFRA)

The BAFRA is the official BAFA member body for referees for the contact and non-contact versions of the sport in Great Britain. It’s the only organisation for American football referees in UK.

BAFL

British American Football League (BAFL)

The BAFL is the official BAFA member body that offers competitive activity for the contact and non-contact versions of the sport in Great Britain for persons for all age groups except students at University.

The BAFL regular season runs from April/May to August. Play-offs occur through September and the National Championships (BritBowl) is played at the end of September at the Keepmoat Stadium, Doncaster.

British American Football Coaches Association (BAFCA)

The BAFCA is the official BAFA member body for coaches for the contact and non-contact versions of the sport in Great Britain. BAFCA was founded in 2002 and has been the only organisation for coaches in British American Football.
