The International Federation for American Football have named the University of Birmingham Lions as international team of the month and Lions quarterback Tristan Varney as International player of the month.

BAFA Director for Student Football Development Andy Fuller welcomed the announcement This is tremendous news for Birmingham and richly deserved. From a League perspective it is really pleasing to see that our teams and players are being recognised internationally.
