North Western Coaching Clinic

On January 29th Liverpool John Moores University will play host to the second North Western Coaching Clinic with the aim of building upon the unqualified success of the first edition in 2010.

The Coaches' Association have unveiled a strong line of of guest speakers whose expertise will span many aspects of coaching.

Stuart Miller, Damian Anderson and Pat Cullen will be presenting and sharing some of the secrets of the success of their London Blitz programme.

Wayne Hill has been an integral part of the success achieved by the flagship University of Birmingham Lions programme who have spent three seasons undefeated in the regular season and who have held a firm grip on the Championship trophy since 2009.

Mike Callan was the Head Coach of the University of Greenwich Mariners as they not only claimed their Conference title in 2010 but also marched to BUAFL National Challenge Trophy success in the same year. Callan also plays a key role in the continued success of the Blitz.

Paul Day from the Lancashire Academy will lead attendees through a workshop on developing Quarterbacks for the British game and he will be joined by Andy Mack who will lead sessions on the Three Step Offense. 

It is also anticipated that there will be representatives from the Referees' Association on hand throughout the day.
