BAFA is delighted to confirm that at the recent EFAF Board of Directors Meeting in Innsbruck the subject of a European Championship for National University teams was discussed.

BAFA Director for Student Football Development Andy Fuller welcomed the announcement

During the recent IFAF Congress in Ohio the President of the EFAF continental federation initiated discussions with the EFAF Board on the topic of an international student competition.

He said 'Although we are only in the early stages of the idea there is tremendous support to explore all opportunities in this area'.

Fuller added

BAFA looks forward to working with EFAF on this matter in the coming months.
