GB Lions Adult Flag squad announced.

Further to the recent GB Lions Flag camp at the BAFA Convention at the University of Leicester, Head Coach, Stuart McKay is delighted to announce the squad to travel to Italy to compete in the European Championship this coming September.

The squad is as follows:
Ben Brady (England - player)
Josh Fellows (England - player)
Neil Henderson (Scotland - player)
Colin Jones (Scotland - player)
Dayle Kirby (England - player/coach)
Andy Leane (England - player)
Dave Lee (England - player)
Kinda Mann (England - player)
David Mooney Snr. (Scotland - player/Captain)
Tim Smith (England - player)
Pete Steel (England - player)
Jimmy Thompson (Scotland - player)
Nick Watson (England - player)
Stuart McKay (Head Coach)
Jamie Sinfeild (Offensive Coordinator)
Mark Fletcher (Defensive Coordinator)
John Scougall (Trainer)
Steven Maxwell (Manager)

Talking on the recent camp Coach McKay commented, “It was a tough decision selecting the athletes to travel to Italy. All the guys present gave an excellent performance, making the selection process very challenging for the coaching staff”. Stuart continued, “I would like to take the opportunity to thank all those attended the camp and I look forward to seeing them at try-outs in the future. Coach McKay concluded, “there will be plenty of opportunities for them to represent Great Britain in the future - particularly for the 2008 World Cup”.
