The BAFA is delighted to confirm that a small delegation from the National Governing Body recently met with Tommy Wiking, President of the International Federation of American Football (IFAF) - the global governing body for the sport of American Football - and Scott Hallenbeck, IFAF Treasurer and Executive Director of USA Football.

Among the many topics discussed included the new developments and potential partnership between IFAF and the NFL New York office - a project that will benefit the development of grassroots participation in all IFAF nations.

Commenting on the project, Gary Marshall, BAFA Chairman, said, “The project Mr. Wiking and Mr. Hallenbeck are working with the NFL New York offices is a very exciting one and something, as members of IFAF, the BAFA will look forward to supporting in whatever capacity we are able”.

Present at the meeting were BAFA Chairman, Gary Marshall, GB Lions Head Coach, Riq Ayub, President of the British American Football Coaches Association (BAFCA), Jim Messenger and BAFA WSP Manager, Ken Walters.
