GB Youth Trials Announced

The GB Youth team will start its preparations for re-entry into the European Junior Championships with two try out sessions in March and April.
 
The sessions are open to any player aged 16-19 who is eligible to represent Great Britain in these championships. All new triallists and existing squad members are invited - to be in with a chance of selection players must attend one of these try out sessions or liaise with the Head Coach if there are any reasons why they may not be able to attend.
 
These are the details of the sessions:-
 
North: GATESHEAD
The trials will be at the International Stadium in Gateshead on Saturday 27th March. Registration will start at 10.00 hours
 
Triallists w ill run through agility tests and sprint testing in the morning and then football (in full equipment) in the afternoon.
 
It is an astroturf facility so appropriate footwear must be brought.
 
Players should select one position to try out for. All Offensive players must wear a white shirt - Defensive players should wear anything but white.
 
South: BRISTOL
The trials return to the Filton Wise campus on Saturday 17th April with registrations at 10.00 hours.
 
As in the North, triallists will run through agility tests and sprint testing in the morning and then football (in full equipment) in the afternoon.
 
It is on 3G astroturf for the testing and then grass for the football - triallits will need footwear for both surfaces.
 
Players must select one position to try out for. All Offensive players must wear a white shirt - Defensive players should wear anything but white.
 
Cost:
The cost per trial is £5. Details of how to pay will be published shortly.
Packed Lunch:

There is a 30 minute lunch break, so we suggest you bring lunch with you as there will not be time to leave the facility to eat and be back in time for a prompt start.
Water:
While we will try and ensure water is available at the stations and that all players are hydrated, it is always good practice to bring a water bottle with you just in case.
Insurance:
All players will require insurance. This may entail proving your BAFA registration.
Declaration:
The appropriate consent form for people to sign will be made available shortly.
