BAFA Kick-Start Co-ordinator Announced

BAFA is delighted to announce that the role to coordinate the Kick-Start 2011 programme has been awarded to A. Allen Consultancy.

BAFA Kick-Start lead director, Jim Messenger, said; 'Tony Allen is well known for his vast experience in football. He will bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the programme as well as a strong personal attachment to the British game and desire to see youth football flourish. I am delighted we will have Tony to support the Kick-Start programme in 2011.

He continued; 'We would like to offer again our thanks to IFAF. Their additional support of Kick-Start has allowed us the opportunity to have the capacity of a designated coordinator.'

The role will commence with immediate effect and is scheduled to be completed by end of October 2011. Included in the functions will be regular contact with all Kick-Start projects to offer support and advice; coordination of equipment order and supply; visits to the teams and competitions, and reporting of progress to the BAFA Board.
