One Last Step for The Blitz

The Finsbury Park Stadium, London, will today witness the champions of Great Britain host the Kragujevac Wild Boars in the EFAF Cup Final.

After a long European campaign the London Blitz will hope that a bumper crowd at the Finsbury Park stadium today will roar them on to victory in the EFAF Cup Final.

The Blitz, who qualified for the final by defeating the Sollerad Gold Diggers, will be hoping that they can join an elite collection of British teams who have secured European silverware.

Ahead of the game BAFA Chairman Gary Marshall spoke to bafa.org.uk. 'It is a great achievement for the Blitz to have come so far in this competition and is testament to the hard work of their administrative, coaching and playing staff' he said.

'I am sure that they will have the British football community firmly behind them in their quest for European glory.'

Marshall added 'On behalf of BAFA we would like to welcome EFAF, the Kragujevac Wild Boars and the travelling dignitaries and fans from Serbia. They too, have done remarkably well and we have no doubt that they will provide a stern challenge for the Blitz.'

'It should be a great afternoon of football' Marshall concluded.

The game will take place at the Finsbury Park Stadium, North London.

Tickets on the door cost £7.
