BAFA Whole Sport Plan Manager, Ken Walters, recently contributed to a research project on hosting international tournaments commissioned by the CCPR with Dr Geoff Walters at Birkbeck College, London.

Commenting on the input to the research, Ken said, 'It is clear that BAFA, faces similar challenges to other, smaller, NGB's with respect to hosting international tournaments. Nonetheless, with Great Britain increasingly becoming the global focal point for such activity, BAFA must consider taking advantage of this attention and hosting International tournaments'.
