NFL CAP Clinics

The BAFCA in conjunction with the NFL will be holding a series of clinics in March aimed at coaching and positional fundamentals in football.

Each 3 hour clinic will cover one of the following:

Offensive Line
Defensive Line
Linebackers
Defensive Backs
Running backs
Wide Receivers

These clinics will be accredited as the source material for BAFCA Level 2 qualifications, which attendees can take on the day.

The clinics will be delivered by the following US Coaches:

Nick Fitzgerald, HC from Watervliet High School NY

Brent Steurwald HC (retired), from Shenendehowa High School NY.

There will be two clinics each day, after which there will be an open ‘Questions and Answers’ session with the coaches on any football topic. For those taking the BAFCA qualification, there will also be a written exam and practical assessment.

The clinics are open to all coaches, managers, assistants, team helpers, players or any interested party, not just those BAFCA members taking the Level 2.

Cost of attendance to the actual clinics is FREE thanks to sponsorship by the NFL.

Cost of undertaking a BAFCA exam and assessment is £15 each. (Note, this cost is lower than the normal charge for Level 2, once again due to the generous support of the NFL),

In addition, to take a qualification you must be a current BAFCA member and be previously qualified at Level 1. Present cost of BAFCA membership is £15 plus £10 BAFA membership, (unless already a BAFA member. Please bring BAFA number as proof).
